I am being evicted and have five days to respond. when i respond do i have to deposit rent owed at that time?

if i don't deposit monies at that time would i be in default? And after i respond after the 5 days how much longer do i have before i have to leave?|||You are ALREADY in default. That's why you are being evicted.|||If you are in FL, you have to deposit the rent you owe into the court's escrow account when you respond to the summons.

You need to be packing your things because you will be put out on the street within a couple of weeks.|||if you're being evicted your being evicted, why would you pay money your going to leave anyway, unless if its a warning saying you're close. It depends on your state's laws, but in CA its around 2 months from start of legal process
