Waiting on my OSAP (Canadian Student Loans) direct deposit to go in. It went in on this day last year but nothing yet. Nothing has changed in my banking info. Can direct deposits be processed at any time of day?|||The way it works at my university is we have to get our OSAP and then take the remainder on the form to the post office and send the form off to have our money deposited into our account.
When the money does in is extremely dependent on many factors:
1. When you got your OSAP and sent the rest off.
2. How many other people are sending theirs off to be deposited.
Usually, it is split into Federal and Provincial portions of the loan and one part can go in one day - any day, any time - and the other part will usually go in a few days later. Don't worry, more and more people are applying for OSAP so it may take longer for the money to get to you.
