DIFFERENCE OF HIGH YIELD SAVINGS ACCOUNT AND TIME DEPOSIT?

Withdrawal : If you withdraw from Saving account you are charged no penalty, which you incur when you withdraw from time deposit.

Interest rate : Can change over time for saving account, but stays the same for tenor of time deposit.|||A time deposit does not allow you to withdraw money for a certain period of time. while a high yield savings account usually allows you to withdraw money but with a limited number of times per month and requires you to have a higher minimum daily balance in your account compared to a regular savings account.

But in terms of interest rates, if both have similar rates then you just get similar profits either way, provided that you don't touch your money in your high yield savings account and has the same amount in your time deposit account.
