Ever look around your bank loby and on every single teller till? Well if you had you would see all those camera and one caught YOU and now you are nothing more than a common thief but in this case you WILL be caught.|||Well, are you an honest person or a thief?
If you're honest, just call the bank and tell them what happened.
They'll likely figure it out anyway. When the teller balanced at the end of the day, he or she would have been short - for that amount of money, a bank will go through the person's transactions for that shift and look for ones of the amount the teller was short, and review security cameras and will see that the money wasn't collected from you.
The teller will probably get fired.|||They'll figure it out. They have cameras and recorders and when the teller comes up exactly short your amount they'll start looking at that tellers work that day and then go to the video and see the funds were never collected, It might take them a while but you will get a letter soon. Not clearing this up now is a good way to get yourself banned from opening a bank account anywhere. They check those things.|||Naomi
Call the bank ... or better yet, go into the bank and let them know. They will be able to eventually locate where the difference happened., But, in the mean time, she will be going through heck.... and, maybe lose her job because of it.
Having been in the industry for over 35 years, people that do that are well recogniized, remembered and 'taken care of' for years to come. People have long memories for honesty!
Socccerref|||You should probably call the institution. I am sure they will remember the transaction since the cash deposit was such a large amount but it will save the teller a lot of stress when she is balancing at the end of the day.|||All banks double check all deposits at the end of the day. When they see that they're short from a specific deposit, the client will be notified.|||And you want forgiveness for not calling the bank?|||I don't see any question marks.
You need to send it to my home address. I'll pay for the overnight shipping fees.
